What you can embed
Wording follows Scouting America’s published text. Toggle any combination to build a single embed with multiple texts.
Make it fit
The height in your tag is a fixed number, so a long text on a narrow phone can end up scrolling inside the frame. Two ways to handle it.
Do nothing
The height the builder writes into your tag is measured from the live preview, with room to spare. For short texts like the Motto or the Oath this is usually all you need.
If it looks tight on a phone, raise the height number by hand.
Extra height
costs you a little blank space; too little height costs you a scrollbar.
Or add the resizer
Put this script anywhere on the same page and every UbiScouting frame on it grows and shrinks to fit its text, at any width.
Good to know
It will embed anywhere
The page sends no X-Frame-Options and no framing rules in its
Content-Security-Policy, so any site may frame it. That is the point, and it
also means we cannot restrict who does.
Host it yourself
It is a handful of static files. Copy them onto your own server or your own GitHub Pages site and point the tag there — nothing in the embed refers back here.
Check the wording
Texts are transcribed from Scouting America’s published versions. If
you spot a
difference from your current handbook, the text lives in one file,
content.en.js, and is easy to correct.
